Office Furniture Lead Installer

Office Furniture Lead Installer at Workplace Interiors is responsible for delivering furniture to customer sites, including driving, loading, and unloading trucks. The candidate will operate as the main point of communication with the customer and relay information back to the office. Individuals will complete the efficient installation and assembly of office furniture within the client’s facilities, including cubicles, desks, and chairs. The candidate is responsible for the timely completion of day-to-day work with a high level of workmanship and a high degree of customer satisfaction.

  • Strong work ethic and very ethical approach to the business; is punctual and self-motivated

  • Takes ownership of assignment results and details - follows through to the assignment’s finish

  • Reacts to varying project/field conditions and is able to make decisions to solve problems and changes in the scope

  • Physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes, and equipment

  • Comfortable working with a team

  • Understands and follows through with consistent and accurate paperwork

  • Professional in appearance and in manners with good oral and written communication skills

  • Strong customer service attitude and manner; communicates easily and clearly; is polite and cordial with customers

  • Highly responsive to customer requests

  • Understands the customer satisfaction focus of the installation team and consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations

  • Standard work week is 40+ hours with overtime opportunities

  • Medical Insurance available, 401K plan.

 

Required Skills:

  • 5+ Years of installation/work with power tools is required

  • Experience working on job sites

  • Valid Driver’s License (CDL a plus)

  • Clean Driving Record

  • Physically Fit

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Good customer service skills

  • Handy with tools and mechanical
